Toby and Nancy Greer of Kirkfair Shelties live on an acre of land in Keller,Texas.
We have just landscaped our property providing for plenty of room for our shelties to run in four large sections of our lawn. Morning hours can be spent in our shaded concrete runs under the trees by our barn. Kirkfair was originated in 1981. Mainly we have shown in conformation, but we have put a CD on two of our dogs, Confederate's I Did It My Way , and Kirkfair Autumn Fires. Our first pointed girl was "Shelby" Confederate's Cracklin' Rose who had three points. We bred and finished "Jazz" Ch. Kirkfair Crida Blue Note. We got "Pudge" Ch. Musical Kirkfait Great Catch from Darlene Musick as an 8 wk. old puppy and finished him. Four years ago Vicki King sold us "Adam" Ch. Springtime Just For Kicks. He was handled and finished by Diana Cuellar his co-owner. "Flirt" Wildwind Kirkfair Flirtation has one point from the puppy class' and recently gained one more, watch for her in the ring this fall.
We have been a member of The American Shetland Sheepdog Club since 1991. We have held a membership in The Shetland Sheepdog Club of Houston, The Alamo Area Shetland Sheepdog Club and are currently a member of the Shetland Sheepdog Club of Greater Fort Worth. Nancy was a former president and is now a board member.
We do not often have puppies, but when we do they are sold on limited registration and a spay/neuter contract. A 72 hr. general health guarantee and a 2 1/2 yr. guarantee for hereditary defects such as hip dysplacia, epilepsy, and DM. Temperment and Health are of formost importance to us.
